Thu Pham Buser is a New York City-based culinary artist.

She works as a food and drink stylist, chef, and recipe developer with an emphasis on editorial and commercial work. Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, she was professionally trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Spain before moving to NYC in 2019.

She grew up in her family’s restaurant built into the side of her home where playing with food became a part of life. Her styling is deeply influenced by the colors and patterns of her culture.

Thu spends much of her time perfecting her craft in unique gelatin artwork and fruit & vegetable carvings and sculpting to preserve a vanishing Vietnamese food art tradition.

Thu’s work can be found in magazines such as Bon Appétit, The New York Times, Eater, the Wall Street Journal, TMagazine, Vox Media, and Food & Wine. Her clients include brands such as Impossible Foods, Lays, Don Julio, Campari, Grand Marnier, Silk, and Marriott International - amongst others.
